Dear friends who are reading, to follow are our memories, ideas and hints on the three biggest charity televised events organized so far, through lists and run downs..

The most watched moments on the official Live Aid DVD:

Disc 1: Ultravox, Spandau Ballet, From Sade on…

Disc 2: Dire Straits, From Queen to David Bowie, the Who and Elton John

Disc 3: from Madonna to Band Aid finale, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, The Cars, from Thompson Twins to DD

Disc 4: all last numbers of the concert. Off the “Extras”: INXS, Run DMS, David Bowie & Mick Jagger

The most memorable moments of Live 8:

Pink Floyd

Pet Shop Boys

All of the Italian artists at the Circus Maximus, Rome for the first time taking part in a global event

Sir Bob Geldof

The rappers, by now ruling the charts

Lastly, the memory, which overshadows a little the show was the critics on the absence of African artists and performers on the bill of an event set up in aid of Africa

The most watched moments of Live Earth:

Queen and Paul Rodgers

Duran Duran

The ever relevant rappers

What are the reasons why the concerts all worked well?

Big names involved on the bill

Big venues and the venues were located in places easy to reach.

The urgency of the causes

Communication, so the possibility of being informed about the event and being involved in

Freedom to choose whether to attend or to watch

A good concert ticket price.

What are the reasons why should at any time necessary a big charity global music event be held, if economically possible?

Whenever politicians and/or our leaders fail to act

Whenever there is no time to lose

Whenever the effects of the impact of the promoted cause on the global community have to be enormous

Whenever a military solution is the wrong one
